This 4,200 SF Upper East Side combination apartment renovation was inspired by the architecture and design of the mid-20th century. Essential to minimize the disruption of our clients ‘normal’ world, we focused on preparing one unit as much as possible before beginning the combination with the transformation of one central foyer that united both units and incorporated the private elevator entrance. Highlights of the 10+ room family home include the hand-stained white rift oak chevron floors, oversize solid oak doors on pivot hinges, custom moldings and the Blanco Nieve and White Thassos stone slabs in the bathrooms, wet bar and foyer.
