You’ve found us. Lucky you. Maybe you were referred through your architect, designer, family or friend. We don’t mind how, we are just happy you found us. First of all, Capital Craftsmen will assess your full set of plans and specifications. From there, we schedule a time to conduct a site survey and meet in person. Once conducted, within a week, we are able to prepare an estimate with the assistance of our sub-contractors. You will then receive our bid in the format of a detailed proposal, including a project timeline.

Once you approve our proposal, we prepare an AIA legal binding contract between us (the contractor) and you (the client). During this period, the architect initiates the process of obtaining permits and approval from the building. Capital Craftsmen will begin to purchase all long-lead item materials ahead of construction.

• Site Management
Once construction commences, Capital Craftsmen thoroughly protects your space and begins coordinating the delivery of all materials. From start to finish, we oversee the entire process with an on-site manager assuring everything is built according to plan, to schedule and to quality. Weekly site meetings with the architect and you are an important aspect of the project to track the progress against the schedule, celebrate milestones and problem solve as a team.

When the project is near completion, our professional final cleaning removes all traces of construction work. A walk-through will be scheduled for punch list items and once the client is satisfied with these, the project will be deemed physically complete. The architect submits all paperwork to officially close the job and now here you are, living in your new and beautiful dream home.
