A warming hut located at the paddle board courts at the Village Club of Sands Point was constructed to achieve elevated views combined with comfort for the members. The design kept with the clubs current Italian Renaissance style and included integration of existing and new exterior decking. The site was excavated, foundations set and concrete drywell system installed. Wood framing design with new gas, electric, plumbing and HVAC services. Exterior finishes included roof shingles by Certainteed, Owens Corning cultured Stone, over-sized Pella windows and aluminum gutters and leaders. The large interior space with en-suite bathroom includes Daltile Forest Park floor tile, Shaker cabinetry, custom moldings and a fireplace/TV centerpiece wrapped in Eldorado stone.
